Embarking on therapy can be a daunting prospect but I
can assure you that it is definitely a positive step forward
towards changing your life, or changing aspects of your life
you’re not happy with, be it individual therapy for
depression, phobia, anxiety or intimacy, couples therapy for
relationship breakdown or dissatisfaction, or sex therapy to
improve your sexual relationship.

Many people initially feel embarrassed, scared or even
dread at the prospect of talking to a total stranger
about what is going on for them. This is perfectly
understandable. In any form of therapy, the most
important thing is that you feel comfortable with your
therapist. I believe in creating a safe environment in
which to talk. I believe in openness and honesty and
will do my best to offer you clear and comprehensible
explanations of why I ask the questions I ask. Right
from the start, we discuss what is realistically
achievable, what the options for you are and what it
takes to get you from where you are now to where you
want to be. Wherever possible, I also offer information,
reading material and exercises to do at home, to help
support the work you do with me in sessions.
